About
Huatua is an AI GIF generator that turns a prompt or an image into a looping sticker, meme, banner or loop in about 30 seconds. It is made by Fuuqiu (X @Fuuqius), an independent developer.
Why Huatua exists
OpenAI's image models can now return animated GIFs directly, but using that means an API key, code, or a long chat. Huatua puts it behind one prompt box with four styles, a progress indicator, a history and a share link — and lets you try it 3 times without signing up.
How it is built
Huatua runs on Cloudflare's network and calls OpenAI image models to generate each GIF. Payments go through Stripe. Analytics are self-hosted and cookie-free. Huatua is not affiliated with OpenAI.
Grid layout + ping-pong frame idea inspired by VaneAi888/vane-portrait-gif-stickers (MIT).
Pricing in one sentence
3 free GIFs with no account, 10 more with a free account, then one-time credit packs from $0.99 — no subscription, and failed GIFs refund their credit.
The name
Huatua comes from the Chinese word for drawing a picture. It is pronounced hwa-too-ah and written in lower case in the logo.
