Huatua is a GIF generator built on OpenAI image models that lets you make native animated GIFs from a prompt without an API key or code. It is built for people who need something that moves — Discord and Slack regulars, meme makers and social media managers — without opening an editor or learning a prompt language.

What is GPT Image 2.6 GIF output?

On 4 November 2026 OpenAI announced GPT Image 2.6, an image model family that can return an animated GIF instead of a still picture. Instead of stitching frames together in an editor, you ask for a short animation and receive the GIF in one response.

People search for “gpt image gif”, “gpt-image-2 gif” and “gpt image 2.5 gif” because the feature is new and the official route is the API, which needs an account, a key and code.

Does Huatua use GPT Image 2.6?

Huatua runs on OpenAI image models with native GIF output. We are verifying and rolling out GPT Image 2.6 access, and we name a model on this site only after we have tested it here — so this page will say so the day it is live. Huatua is an independent tool and is not affiliated with OpenAI.

How is this different from asking ChatGPT?

ChatGPT can make GIFs inside a conversation. Huatua is a single-purpose tool: four ready styles (Sticker, Meme, Banner, Loop), a fixed square size, a progress indicator, a history of your loops and a public share page with a preview card. The first three GIFs need no account.

How it works

  1. Type a prompt
  2. Pick a style
  3. Download your loop
